Cardiff Airport appointed Rezcomm as its official travel partner to provide a fully secure online booking service for people wishing to pre-book flights, holidays and travel arrangements directly through the Airport website.
The airport wanted to ensure that customers wishing to fly from Cardiff were offered the full range of products and services available, according to its current flying program, to support its load factors and maximise passenger traffic through its terminal.
Rezcomm’s Travel service presents visitors to the Airport’s website with a one-stop shop. Customers can check live flight availability, purchase flight tickets and book a range of other travel-related products and services, such as hotels, car hire and resort transfers.
Rezcomm Travel is fully brand-matched with Cardiff Airport’s own corporate identity, integrating seamlessly with the existing website whilst adding advanced functionality.
Travel offers customers a means of searching all destinations available from the airport, including content such as city guides, helpful travel information, and ideas on things to do and places to see. It makes it possible to capture the customer’s “I want to get away” moment and allow them to explore all the possibilities their holiday might offer without leaving the Airport website.
This makes it more likely that the traveller will book direct through the Airport, increasing revenue and capturing important customer data that helps inform digital marketing communications, driving ancillary sales.

As part of the rebranding process in 2009 Rezcomm was brought on board, initially to provide a system for booking holidays and flights that would complement its new identity. After the success of the booking system we then added a lounge booking tool, increasing the services offered through the airport's website. This new functionality was further enhanced by advanced customer data capture integrated into the airport's own systems. During the period following its rebranding Rezcomm was able to deliver crucial marketing support with key promotions, by becoming the selling agent for event specific departures. With the addition of a booking system customised to match the airport's new visual identity, and delivery of improved customer relationship management, Rezcomm has laid the foundations for a continuously improving customer experience that will evolve as the airport does.
