Guernsey Airport

Guernsey airport is the only airport on the English Channel Island, with around 1m passengers passing through it annually. Flights are mainly to and from UK cities but it does offer seasonal routes to European destinations including Zürich and Rotterdam. Since the first regular passenger

service took off from Guernsey in 1945 it has undergone many improvements starting with a new departure hall and customs area in 1952. In 2004 work began on improving its paved areas, work that was completed in 2014 and which will see the airport continue to deliver a world-class service to the island for the foreseeable future.

It was during the airport's period of renovation that Rezcomm began working with it, implementing a new system in 2008 to promote and sell destinations with a direct route from Guernsey. The UK is well-served with regular flights to locations between Exeter in the southwest and Manchester in the north, and there are also a number of routes to holiday destinations in France. Rezcomm was able to give Guernsey airport the opportunity to promote and sell these direct routes. With this new capability it improved its customers' experience by simplifying the booking process and helping them to make more informed buying decisions.
