Liverpool Airport

One of the UK's busiest airports, and now named after one of its most famous residents, Liverpool John Lennon Airport is an international hub with flights to many destinations throughout Europe, as well as some domestic flights. Following a decade of rapid growth between 1997 and 2007

the numbers of passengers passing through the airport increased from almost 700,000 to over 5m. This impressive increase is evidence of Liverpool airport's position as a leader of low-cost air travel when the sector was starting to develop.

It was in 2007, following the airport's significant growth period, that Rezcomm implemented its travel portal for booking flights and holidays online. With a peak number of passengers passing through the airport it was important at this time to integrate a system that would provide a better experience for future customers and encourage sustained growth. Testament to our system's adaptability and flexibility it was updated and reintroduced in 2013 to support the changing requirements of the airport. The update included a destination map which is prominently displayed on their site. With the help of Rezcomm Liverpool Airport was able to sell flights on all of the routes available at the airport, including connecting worldwide flights. This dramatically increased the number of global connections that were available to local customers at the time.
